Easy Access Standard Cold Frame

Product Description

We’ve designed this cold frame to allow you easy access to your plants as they reside in comfort in this cold frame.

Dimensions: 122cm long x 61cm wide x 61cm high at the back sloping to 20cm high at the front.

Long Lasting Frame – made from maintenance free, rot and rust proof aluminium.

Virtually Unbreakable Glazing – the frame is glazed with clear, shatterproof, double skinned polycarbonate. This 4mm plastic will retain heat, whilst diffusing light to help prevent scorching. The frame is glazed on all sides to allow a good, overall light source to promote healthy plant growth. The base is unglazed, allowing you to grow from the ground.

Easy Access – the cold frame has a large, sloping, single hinged lid that forms a natural sun trap. The lid is easy to lift to give easy access to every corner of the cold frame. Sturdy, lockable brackets with two opening positions let you keep the lid partially or fully open.

No Wasted Space – included with this cold frame is an integral aluminium shelf. This shelf is 15cm wide and runs the full length of the cold frame and is positioned 20cm from the top of the cold frame. This is easy to remove when not required, and replaced again when it’s needed.

Easy Anchorage – corner brackets at the base of the cold frame allow you to easily anchor the cold frame to soft or hard ground.
