A good quality but lighter weight seed tray with a multi cell insert, for growing seeds and cuttings. Made from recycled plastic, these trays and inserts are widely used in commercial nurseries and agriculture. If used carefully, they can be washed and re-used for many seasons. When it’s time to dispose of them, they can go into the recycling bin. The seed trays are supplied with or without drainage holes, and the inserts have drainage holes. The inserts are detachable to make individual pots. Available with 24-cell or 40-cell inserts. The seed trays measure 38cm long x 24cm wide x 5cm deep. Each cell or pot of the 24-cell inserts measures 5cm x 5cm x 5cm high. Each cell of the 40-cell inserts measures 3.8cm x 4cm x 5cm high. As a general guide, the bigger the seed, the bigger the pot, and the 24-cell inserts are ideal for dwarf French bean seeds, beetroot, sweet pepper, radish and larger tomatoes.
