The Stewart Basalt range of planters takes inspiration from the rocky formations created by volcanic activity. They are designed to look like they are made from basalt, which is created from the rapid cooling of magnesium and rich iron that takes place after volcanic eruptions.

Whilst imitating the beauty of this rock, these planters are lightweight, allowing them to be moved around the garden much easier than traditional concrete or ceramic alternatives.

Available in square and round varieties, and in two different sizes, this one is a square 40cm tall version – the Stewart 40cm Tall Square Basalt Planter.
